Panasonic has announced two rugged phones Toughpad FZ-F1 and Toughpad FZ-N1, The two new rugged phones running on windows 10 and Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) correspondingly. The both Smartphones Toughpad FZ-F1 and Toughpad FZ-N1 are running on different OS but all other features are same in both of them.

Display
The Smartphones come with a 4.7 inch HD glove enabled, 10 finger multi-touch with rain sensing and sunlight viewable display. The phone is provided with an optional stylus pen (Active or Passive).
Camera
The rugged phones had a primary camera of 8 MP with LED flash and secondary camera of 5 MP.
Processor
2.3 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM894AB processor with Adreno 330 GPU runs the Smartphone.
RAM and memory
The phone has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory expandable up to 64 GB with the help of a microSD card.
Operating System
The two phones of Toughpad FZ-F1 and FZ-N1 are running on windows 10 and Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) respectively. And the phones have dual-SIM facility.
Connectivity and extra features
Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS, CDMA 1x and EVDO Rev A are the standards supported for network.
Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and GPS for communication, sharing and location services.
Battery
The phone is powered up with a 3200 mAh battery, optional 6200 mAh long life battery back, warm swap compatibility.
The phone also has 1D/2D barcode reader and is a ARM TrustZone (built-in), FIPS 140-2level-1 compliant.
Panasonic Toughpad phones are certified by IP65 (high-pressure jet spray) and IP67 (Submersible up to 3.3 feet for 30 minutes).
The phone can be called rugged as it is in normal and working state resisting to (shock, vibration, rain, dust, altitude, freeze/thaw, high/low temperature, temperature shock, humidity).
Both the variants FZ-N1 and FZ-F1 are priced Rs. 1,02,853 and 1,09,715 and will be available from march 2016.
